Craftmanship
Made Slowly. Made by Hand.
There is no assembly line behind an Everloom piece.
Every blanket begins with yarn, a crochet hook, and the hands of a maker.
From the individual squares to the dimensional figures that give each piece its character, every element is created separately before being brought together into one finished blanket.
The result takes approximately 90 hours of craftsmanship.
Approximately 90 Hours in Every Blanket
What looks like one piece is actually the result of dozens of individually made components.
Each square takes approximately 1 hour to crochet.
Each cat takes approximately 1.5 hours to create by hand.
Only after the individual elements are complete can the blanket begin to take its final form.
There are faster ways to make a blanket.
This isn't one of them.
Square by Square
The foundation of every blanket is created one square at a time.
Each square is individually crocheted before being arranged into the final composition. Slight variations in tension and stitch are natural signs of the hands behind the work — not imperfections to be hidden.
They are part of what makes every Everloom piece individual.
Cat by Cat
The figures are not printed, embroidered by machine, or applied from a manufactured patch.
Each one is crocheted separately by hand.
The body, clothing, face and small details come together gradually before the finished figure is attached to its individual square.
No two will ever be completely identical.
We like it that way.
The Hands Behind Everloom
Everloom began with one maker: my sister.
Today, she works alongside a growing network of women in Turkey — friends, neighbors, homemakers and experienced craftspeople who knit and crochet from their homes.
Their knowledge isn't something a machine can reproduce.
It lives in practiced hands, familiar movements and skills developed over years.
Every Everloom order helps create paid work for the people who make these pieces and allows traditional handcraft to become a meaningful source of income for the families behind it.
Brought Together by Hand
Once the individual squares and figures are finished, the pieces are arranged and joined.
Color, placement, proportion and construction all matter.
Slowly, dozens of separate handmade elements become one object.
The final borders are completed.
The piece is checked.
And only then is an Everloom blanket finished.
Made to Be Used
Our pieces are made from 100% wool and designed for real life.
They are meant to leave the shelf.
To be wrapped around shoulders.
Thrown across a sofa.
Taken outside.
Shared.
Lived with.
And cared for over time.
Everloom blankets are machine washable on a delicate cycle, because something that takes this long to make shouldn't be too precious to use.
Beautiful Things Take Time.
Approximately 90 hours.
Dozens of individually crocheted elements.
Many hands.
One finished piece.
We believe the time is part of what makes it worth keeping.
